Lidl? A new poll suggests we love it like a Ferrari
DISCOUNT SUPERMARKET Lidl is as desirable a brand as supercar maker Ferrari, a new poll reveals.
The study showed that the German supermarket and Italian car company both have “clearly defined roles” in 80 per cent of Britons lives.
Data collected from 60,000 shoppers showed Asda and Morrisons achieved a 61 per cent score in the desirability stakes.
Advertising experts Maurice Saatchi and James Osmond, whose firm produced the report, said Lidl and Ferrari “have proven they are brands of substance in a society of cynics”.
