Is this the world's most aMOOsing beauty competiton? Cows milk their looks for top prize
MOO-VE over Kate Moss, there is some competition in town, as Britain's bovine beauties battle it out to become Cow of the Year.
The udderly ridiculous competition is not looking for a cow with ambitions to achieve world peace or find a cure for disease, just an animal with a fetching face, long lashes and a sweet temperament like you would expect from a typical beauty queen.
Gourmet yoghurt makers The Collective are seeking to crown one cow ‘Cow of the Year’ - because gorgeous cows make gorgeous yoghurts.

Six stunning finalists, voted for by the public, will be judged by a panel selected either for their understanding and appreciation of cows or for their insider knowledge of the beauty industry.
The winning cow will receive a sash and crown to wear, so they can parade their beauty for all to see.
You can log on to the website and view the stunning herd in the picture gallery, where you will be able to vote for the cow that takes your fancy.
The winner of ‘Cow of the Year’ will be crowned in May 2013, with a cash prize of £1,000 for the person who submits the winning photo.
