David Miliband caught napping on the tube
DAVID Miliband, former Shadow Foreign Secretary, has been caught taking a mid-afternoon nap on the London Underground - and he left a surprise for unsuspecting commuters.
The MP for South Shields and brother of Labour leader, Ed, was caught snoozing by electrician Francis Janjua, who sat opposite him on a Piccadilly Line train at 3pm.
When Francis got on the train at Leicester Square, the former Labour leadership contender was reading a book, but sleepy Miliband soon drifted off, with his trouser zipper open.
Francis, 28, said: "Pretty much as soon as the tube set off, he closed his book and put his head on his hand and dozed off.
"He was properly asleep, I reckon.
"I was laughing to myself about it anyway, until I noticed his fly was down - then it was just hilarious."

To add to the politician's embarrassment, Miliband was slumped in a seat reserved for disabled and elderly passengers, although the tube was not busy at the time.
The former Cabinet Minister kipped for around 20 minutes. He woke up in time to disembark at South Kensington, but failed to notice his fly was undone.
Francis, who was travelling home from work, said: "I couldn't believe his fly was down.
"It kind of takes the credibility away from him a little bit. But he's still got more credibility than his brother."
