Couple check wall of Victorian home and make wild discovery
Amanda and Vinny have been renovating their Victorian-era home for the past 12 months and have come across something unexpected in the walls.

A couple who are in the process of renovating their Victorian-era home have showcased a bizarre collection of finds they discovered concealed behind the property's interior walls.
Amanda and Vinny are in the process of restoring the house to it's "former glory" and are documenting the journey on social media.
Taking to TikTok, the pair revealed they made their first find a year ago. However, 12 months on, they are still uncovering items more than a century old.
Their clip began with Vinny feeling around the wooden joists of one room and coming across a black and white photograph. It was also accompanied by a prescription dated 1925, which was to be handed in at a pharmacy in New Jersey.
Vinny then pulled down a New York newspaper page featuring the headline, 'Bandits Killed', dated 1931. Next up was a dusty bottle of oil for sewing machines and lawnmowers, a toy soldier and a shoe horn featuring the name – Daniel J. Ahearn.

Amanda said: "A shoehorn in the wall, interesting."
Vinny then discovered an orange thread - presumably for a sewing machine, a wooden clothes pin and a sympathy note. It read: "With deepest sympathy. Emma, Rick, Jenny and Ralph."
Another toy figurine followed, as a did a large light bulb and a jar of talcum powder.
In the caption, Amanda revaled: "One year later we’re still finding items left in the walls by past tenants in different areas of the house during renovations.
"If you have the opportunity to buy an older home, do it! You never know what you’re going to find!"

Writing in response to the viral videos, one TikTok user asked: "Are you going to put any of them back?"
Amanda replied: "We want to figure out a way to display them in the house like a little museum. I was thinking of at least taking pictures of everything and putting them back in the walls along with our own things."
A second person agreed, advising the couple: "I would get a small curio cabinet and display all of these in the house somewhere. That would be so awesome to have little bits of history from my house as keepsakes."
A third exclaimed: "Absolute treasures! And imagine the old owners having no idea that all of these strangers 100 years later fascinated by this."
Whilst a fourth TikTok user pondered: "Adding back to some of this cool original stuff would be a great idea too, and maybe a letter about your finds. Maybe over time add some newspaper clippings from this day and age?"
