Many people fantasise about relocating to the idyllic Cornish countryside, with the charming fishing village of Polperro being a top choice due to its tidal beach and annual town festival.

One of the perks of living here is that only residents or those conducting business are permitted to drive on the roads. This means that while tourists do flock to the area, their vehicles are parked far up the hill, providing locals with a sense of tranquillity.

Currently on the market in this quaint village is a beautiful three-bedroom house that comes with an unusual feature - a model village.

The Polperro model village has been a source of entertainment for visitors since the 1950s. Despite surviving numerous fires and floods over the years, it is now up for sale, along with the attached house.

Listed by Carla Jones Estate Agents on Rightmove, the property was originally built on an old forge and has since been transformed into a miniature replica of Polperro itself, even featuring a tiny model village within the model village, reports the Mirror.

In addition to the model village, there's also a model train set and another exhibit called Land Of Legends, which educates visitors about the folklore and history of Polperro through the perspectives of workers, pirates, and smugglers.

Priced at £725,000, the model village comes with a stunning house, offering a place to live while managing this unique attraction.

Rightmove describes the property as a "very well presented three-bedroom home with a lovely sun terrace where the new owners can take full advantage of what is on offer."

Despite its unusual nature, the photographs reveal that the property is still rather beautiful.
