Harry Potter star charged for growing cannabis
A TEENAGE Harry Potter star was today charged with growing cannabis plants, Scotland Yard said.
Jamie Waylett, 19, of Messina Avenue, Kilburn, north London, will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court on July 16 charged with producing 10 cannabis plants.
The young actor plays Vincent Crabbe - a sidekick of villain Draco Malfoy - in the film franchise.
The news comes on the same day the latest Potter installment - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - premieres in London.

Another man, John William Innis, 20, of Mays Lane, Barnet, Hertfordshire, will appear at the same court on July 16 charged with possession of 11 bags of cannabis and possession of a knife.
