SNOW has been forecast for much of the UK with freezing weather expected across Britain today. Here are the latest regional weather forecasts for this week.

When will it snow in London and the south?
Snow is expected to hit London from 5pm today, the Met Office have said, with windchill that will make temperatures feel close to -7C.
Netweather says that there is a 20 per cent chance of snow falling in London today and a 27 per cent chance of snow tomorrow, while in Exeter there is a 16 per cent chance of snow this evening.
Paul Gundersen, chief meteorologist at the Met, said: “Southern counties of England and Wales can expect a cold and wet day with some heavy rain on Thursday, but there’s an increasing chance this will turn to sleet or snow, especially over hills, during the afternoon and evening.”
When will it snow in the north?
Mr Gunderen continued: “Most northern areas are very likely to see snow showers at times over the next few days.”
Snow is forecast to begin falling in Manchester at 7pm tonight peaking at 8pm. Temperatures will feel as cold as -3C.
Netweather says that there is a 38 per cent chance of snow today in Manchester, 76 per cent for tomorrow and 33 per cent chance of snow on Saturday.
Further north in Newcastle there is a 45 per cent chance of snow falling today and 95 per cent on Friday.
The Met say that is could briefly snow at 1pm this afternoon and again from 9pm continuing into tomorrow. Temperatures will feel close to -6C.

When will it snow in the Midlands?
Netweather says that there is a 36 per cent chance of snow today in Birmingham and 38 per cent tomorrow.
The Met predicts that snow will first fall at 2pm, continuing until around 7am tomorrow morning. Windchill will take temperatures down to -6C.

When will it snow in Scotland?
Snow has landed in parts of Scotland overnight, with snow snow in Glasgow and 2-3cm on the ground in Fife.
The Met has issued a yellow warning for wind and snow for huge swathes of Scotland.
They warn that “several cm of snow will begin to accumulate away from western coasts, especially over higher ground”.

There is a 95 per cent chance of snow falling in Edinburgh today which could begin as early as 8am.
Freezing weather is almost certain to continue into the weekend with a 76 per cent chance of snowfall for Friday, which should clear up by Saturday.
Similarly, there is a 90 per cent chance of snow falling today in Glasgow from as early as 8am. Netweather says there is a 63 per cent of snow tomorrow.
Aberdeen is also likely to see snow with a 32 per cent chance forecast for today and an 12 per cent chance for Saturday. Temperatures across Scotland will feel close to -6C.

When will it snow in Wales?
Cardiff is at a much lower risk of snow, with a 20 per cent chance of snow falling tomorrow and 0 per cent for the rest of the weekend.
The Met forecast that snow could fall from 9pm tonight continuing into early Friday morning. Temperatures will feel as low as -4C.
When will it snow in Northern Ireland?
There is a 80 per cent chance of snow falling in Belfast today and tomorrow. The Met have predicted that snow could fall intermittently from 9pm tonight through until Friday evening, with temperatures feeling close to -4C.
