EASTER HEATWAVE: Britain faces two weeks of glorious sunshine
BRITAIN is set for two weeks of sunshine in the lead up to Easter, with unusually high temperatures across much of the country.

Scotland in particular is set to benefit from the warm weather, with temperatures expected to be seven or eight degrees higher than usual.

Sophie Yeomans, a Met Office meteorologist, told Express Online: "As things stand currently there is a band of high pressure in the UK, leading to more settled conditions for the time being.
"It is going to be mainly dry and settled with a few spots of rain. Mostly sunny spells with warm air coming up from the south."
