London snow: Capital SHIVERS as snow falls across UK - 'It's coming down thick and fast!'
SNOW has hit parts of London as the UK faces wintery conditions with weather warnings in place.

Snow began to fall in parts of London on Tuesday afternoon. Social media users reacted with delight to the flurries of snow in the capital. One said on Twitter: “Omg the snow is coming down thick and fast in London.”
Another wrote: “Some properly heavy snow in SW London at the moment!”
A third said: “Snow has started falling in central London.”
Another added: “Here we go again...snowing in London!”
One more said: "Snow in London how exciting."

John West from the Met Office told the Evening Standard: “The main snow event is coming through now and should pass. It will be dry and cold overnight with temperatures down to -1C in the south east. Any dampness can turn into ice and there ice an ice warning issued by the Met Office.”
It comes after yellow ice warnings were issued as the country is gripped by freezing temperatures.
The Met Office’s Alex Deakin said: “Things could be really quite slippery. Ice is a big hazard across large parts of the UK.
“We have a yellow warning in force with more showers to come throughout the day - things could stay pretty slippery.
“The showers in west Scotland foraging mostly as snow even to lower levels, and a mixture of hale, sleet and snow showers elsewhere scattered across west Wales and south west England.
“That wet weather scooting away and for much of England a sunny morning.
“Temperatures starting below freezing, ending up three or four degrees for many. A bit more in the far south west.
“Wherever we see showers throughout the day it could again turn icy through Tuesday evening as temperatures tumble once more - another hard frost.
“Further sleet and snow showers coming into Wales, Northern Ireland and northwest Scotland.
“For many it will be dry overnight - potentially quite icy on Wednesday morning’s commute.
“A crisp cold winter’s day with highs of three or four degrees, maybe five or six across parts of the south. Maybe seven or eight in the far southwest.
“Wednesday night the frost returns - it could turn icy once more.”
