Stormy Daniels has a bizarre punishment in mind for Donald Trump

Stormy Daniels has broken her silence on the conviction of Donald Trump, saying he should be jailed and that she will 'never escape the death threats from his supporters'.

Stormy says she doesn't know what kind of punishment Trump would even understand

Donald Trump should either be imprisoned or serve as a "punching bag at a women's shelter", says Stormy Daniels.

The disgraced former US President was found guilty on all counts in his hush money criminal trial last Thursday. The 75-year-old made history by becoming the first-ever current or former commander-in-chief to be convicted of felony charges, a verdict he described as "a disgrace".

Central to the charges were reimbursements paid to Trump's ex-lawyer Michael Cohen for a $130,000 hush money payment to the former adult film star to prevent her from going public with her allegations about a 2006 sexual encounter with Trump. Prosecutors argue that these reimbursements were falsely recorded as "legal expenses" to conceal their true purpose.

Now, Stormy, whose real name is Stephanie Gregory Clifford, has spoken out about the conviction to The Mirror. She stated: "I think he should be sentenced to jail and some community service working for the less fortunate or being the volunteer punching bag at a women's shelter."

"I don't know what the sentencing could be or what Trump will even understand. It's like when you have a child, and sometimes you take the electronics away from them. They don't care. They'll just go colour their colouring books, and then you have another child that, you know, they don't want to go outside."

"You gotta ground them or like take away electronics or don't let them have dessert. You have to find the punishment that not just matches the crime, but is fair and just, and that impacts that particular person. Who knows what that is with Trump."

She further expressed her fear of never being able to escape the death threats from Trump's supporters. She disclosed: "You always feel like you're the bad guy, even when you're not just being up on that standard. Being in court was so intimidating with the jurors looking at you, but I'm glad that the stuff came out in court that wanted to come out and prove, like I said, I've been telling the truth the entire time. It's not over for me. It's never going to be over for me. Trump may be guilty, but I still have to live with the legacy."

Stormy also expressed her surprise at how quickly the jury found the former president - the first US leader ever convicted - guilty of all 34 charges, stating it showed they believed her testimony. She recalled how just weeks earlier she had been seated merely 10 feet away from him - the first time since she saw him in Los Angeles in 2007 - while giving evidence.

The downfall of Trump was largely due to a $130,000 (£102,000) payment made by his then-lawyer, Michael Cohen, to Stormy Daniels. This payment was intended to keep her quiet about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump at a celebrity golf tournament a decade prior to the 2016 US election.

Both Cohen and Trump, now 77, later devised an illegal plan to falsify business records to conceal the reimbursement of the payment to Cohen.

During the closing arguments of the trial, prosecutor Joshua Steinglass suggested to the jury that the payment to silence Daniels could have "very well" been the factor that "got President Trump elected."
