World Cup: Beers go flying as England defeats Colombia
Streets left empty by England supporters rushing home were filled with people celebrating their England's victory last night.
Londoners were filmed swarming outside pubs and homes to party, with hundreds dancing and jumping in London Bridge.
But just hours before streets of England were left deserted as millions of Britons were glued to televisions to watch the intense World Cup match that saw England battling - and defeating - Colombia in Russia.
Amazing pictures showed usually busy areas such as Mall in Westminster and Parliament Square, always swamped with locals and tourists, emptied before 7pm, when people gathered in pubs or homes to cheer for the Three Lions.
Even the ever-busy Liverpool Street, one of the most important Tube and railway stations in London, was left without a living soul ahead of the game.
And the M25, known for its congestion, was pictured with only a few cars on it during the rush hour.
The worry of being home on time for the match even sparked a brawl on a platform at London Underground's Bank station.

Colombia's players complained against the referee's decision and surrounded him in a desperate bid to change his mind, losing almost five minutes of play.
But England fans celebrations didn't last long as Colombia equalised with a header at the 93rd minute, adding 30 minutes of extra time to the match and agony to England supporters.
As the extra-time didn't change the match's result, England and Colombia headed to penalty shoot-out.
Before last night England had won just one out of seven penalty shoot-outs in major competitions - but tonight our boys triumphed, beating Colombia 4-3.
Together with Captain Kane, Dier and Pickford are the heroes of the night, as they made the difference at the shoot-out.
The first five penalties were all finely taken and successful, Kane and Rashford on target for England.
But Henderson almost brought England fans to a mental breakdown when he failed to score.
