THE Queen was all smiles at the Epsom Derby this afternoon dressed in bright lilac with a matching floral hat for Ladies Day.
The Monarch was attended the fun-filled event which celebrates glamorous outfits and extraordinary hats of the women who head to watch the races.
And the huge horses fan was at the finishing line to see 16/1 outsider Masar won the Epsom Derby.
The horse, ridden by William Buick, took home the £1.5million prize in a huge upset.
The Queen complimented her lilac outfit she wore black shoes, white gloves and carried her trademark handbag.
She also wore a purple brooch.
The 92-year-old, who last month celebrated her beloved grandson Prince Harry’s wedding to 36-year-old American bride Meghan Markle, looked chirpy at the festival held at the Surrey racecourse.
Complimenting the purple colour, the Queen wore raspberry coloured lipstick.
Horseracing is one of the Queen's favourite pastimes, and she rarely misses a big event such as Epsom.
Saxon Warrior was the odds-on favourite to win today’s Derby race but came in in fourth place.
Horse racing fans in their thousands flocked to the course as the race enters its second day.
