London bloodbath: Man stabbed in Shepherd's Bush in FIFTH attack in 48 hours
A MAN in his 40s has been rushed to hospital "as a priority" after suffering multiple stab wounds during an attack in Shepherd's Bush, west London, today. This latest attack comes after police responded to three stabbings across the capital yesterday, including a “mass brawl” between youths armed with machetes.

Police and paramedics were called to Ashchurch Grove at around 10.30am this morning after receiving reports of a stabbing near Goldhawk Road and Ravenscourt Park.
Officers arrived and found a man, believed to be in his 40s, suffering from stab injuries in the street.
He was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, police said.
Michael Walsh, a bartender at The Orchard Tavern, said that the incident took place close to the pub and "looked pretty serious".
He said: "When we opened up this morning the cleaner said she passed it and she saw lots of police. There was a load of police vans at the scene [and] there was a police investigation van there.
"It looked pretty serious. It’s awful to have this on your doorstep."
Detectives are investigating and no arrests have been made.
In the last 48 hours, police in London have responded to five stabbings and one suspected acid attack:
- A teenager was stabbed in Waltham Forest on Monday afternoon
- A teenager was stabbed in Hackney following a "mass brawl" between youths armed with machetes
- A 16-year-old was knifed in the street in Twickenham
- A teenage victim was rushed to hospital with stab wounds after reports of a fight in Woolwich
- A woman was taken to hospital after a suspected acid attack in Brixton
Detectives are now appealing for information about Monday’s attack in Waltham Forest, which police say also involved a firearm.
An appeal issued by the Metropolitan Police today said investigators are on the hunt for two balaclava-clad men riding a moped.

The force said the pillion passenger fired a weapon towards the victim.
Detectives are also appealing for any information on a dark car which was following the moped.
Police said four people got out of the vehicle and attacked the victim before driving away.
Officers were called to Leytonstone Road shortly after 4.38pm after receiving reports a boy had been stabbed.
After arriving in hospital, his condition was thought to be critical, but this was later downgraded to non-life threatening.

A teenager was stabbed in Beresford Square, Woolwich, on Tuesday
Officers were called to separate incidents in Twickenham, Woolwich and Hackney yesterday afternoon.
The first attack on the Nightingale Estate, Upper Clapton, took place at around 3pm.
The Nightingale Estate community group said on Twitter there had been a “mass brawl” involving a “group of young lads with machetes attacking each other”.
A boy, believed to be 16, was hurt in the attack.
He sought treatment for his injuries the nearby Nightingale Practice GP surgery
The second attack in west London took place at around 3.10pm.
Police were called to Embankment, Twickenham, after a 16-year-old was knifed in the street.

The victim suffered a stab wound to the arm.
In a separate incident at around 5pm, a teenage victim was found stabbed in Beresford Square, Woolwich following reports of a fight.
He was rushed to hospital after suffering stab wounds.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in connection with the attack.
