Farmer worker, 76, claimed he LOST his job after Henry Vincent's family purchased estate
A FARM worker yesterday claimed he lost his job after the family of slain burglar Henry Vincent took over a £1.7million estate.
Walter Bratton was forced to leave the estate due to Henry Vincent's family
Walter Bratton, 76, was forced to leave his home of 50 years in a brutal dismissal, he alleged.
The grandfather worked at the 40-acre farm looking after cattle and pigs until the family bought the property in Hollingbourne, Kent.
The former owner of the farm, 72-year-old eccentric Dudley Wright, is now thought to be living in a caravan on the grounds.
Mr Bratton said: “I was absolutely gutted. It had been my life for so long.

“I was simply given a letter from the owner Dudley that said I was no longer required. There was no explanation.”
He added: “I got a letter signed by Dudley that I was no longer needed and had to leave. That was that.
“I’d been working for his family for 50 years and wasn’t even given a reason why he no longer needed me.”
It emerged this week that the Vincent family had legally bought the Grade-II listed estate worth £1.7million for around a sixth of its value.
