BREAKING: Canterbury court EVACUATED as white powder sent to judge
CANTERBURY Court was evacuated after a suspicious package, containing white powder, was sent to a judge in the city. Police and emergency services scrambled to the scene after a suspicous letter was sent to the court.

The letter was addressed to District Judge Justin Barron and was sent to the site this morning.
And when it was opened, a mystery white powder fell out, decontaminating a member of the legal team.
Several members of staff were also exposed to the powder after the letter was opened in the office.
A paramedic car, ambulance, two police cars, and two fire engines, are currently at the scene.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a suspicious package at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court at 8.55am on Tuesday 24 April 2018.
"Officers are at the scene along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"The package was found not to be harmful however enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
After examinations the substance was found to be baking powder, according to an official on the scene, as reported by Kent Online.
