'Beyond devastating' Paralympian claims easyJet staff demanded she 'prove' disability
PARALYMPIAN Sophia Warner, 43, has told how easyJet staff reduced her to tears by demanding she “prove” her disability.

The World Championship silver medallist said she was challenged on her way from Milan to Gatwick on Monday and asked: “You look completely normal. Why do you need help?”
Taking to social media she wrote: “I’ve not complained on twitter before.
“The order to publicly prove my disability incident by @easyJet yesterday was beyond devastating.
“I cried all the way home. I don’t even know where to begin with a complaint.”
The mother of two was born with cerebral palsy, which affects her legs and left arm.

EasyJet said: “We’re sorry to hear of Ms Warner’s experience.
“We are in contact with her to understand what happened.
“The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority.”
Sprinter Ms Warner quit her marketing executive job in 2011 to prepare for the 2012 Paralympics in London.
She qualified and ran in the T35 100m and 200m sprint and was also on the T35-38 women’s relay team for Great Britain.
