Victoria tube station reopened after fire alarm sparks evacuation
VICTORIA tube station was evacuated while authorities responded to a fire alarm early on Saturday evening.

Panicked crowds fled the station after an alarm went off and firefighters rushed to the scene.
Staff asked passengers to exit the station but did not immediately give a reason why, commuter Nic Tucker told express.co.uk.
The station was closed and underground trains were not stopping at Victoria while investigations into the alert continued.
Tfl Travel Alerts tweeted: “Victoria station is closed while we respond to a fire alert.
"All trains are not stopping. Tickets acceptance is in place on local buses.”
Victoria is a major London underground station and serves the Victoria, Circle & Distict lines
Victoria station serves the Victoria, District and Circle underground lines, as well being a central London railway terminus.
Shocked commuters took to social media after being evacuated from the station.
One Twitter user wrote: ”People inc myself running out of Victoria station after announcement that there was an emergency. Not sure what's happening. Madness.”
Transport for London has now confirmed the station has now reopened.
