GCSE results day: Nick Gibb on the decline in A*-C grades
This is the first year that Maths, English and English Literature will be graded from 1-9 rather than A* to U.
The new grading system has been rolled out to better reflect the student’s achievements and provide differentiation among the highest grades.
You can access GCSE grade boundary information from 6am on Thursday, August 24.
