Marlborough plane crash: Two dead after light aircraft blaze in Wiltshire field
TWO men have died after a light aircraft crashed in a field in Marlborough yesterday.
The crash took place at 6:30pm on Thursday
Police confirmed the news after the plane came down at Brimslade Farm in Wiltshire, south of Marlborough, just before 6.30pm on Thursday.
The men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said it sent four appliances to the scene, where a field surrounding the plane had caught fire.

Officers said a formal identification is yet to take place.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch have launched an investigation into the incident.
A Wiltshire Police spokeswoman said: "Two men were confirmed deceased at the scene. Formal identification has not yet taken place.
"The Air Accidents Investigation Branch are leading the investigation into the incident.
