It later emerged that police have arrested a second man suspected of taking part in the alleged raid.

A police guard was mounted at the alleged accomplice’s terraced home in Slough, Berkshire, a five-minute drive from the scene of Digby’s death in Colnbrook early on Monday.
Forensics experts moved in looking for clues to the alleged accomplice’s possible involvement in the alleged burglary at the dilapidated caravan, which is without power or water and owned by 72-year-old Reuben Gregory and his sister Cathy, 60.
A firearm was found at the scene by officers and taken away for examination.

The Gregorys, who apparently rang 999 to report the shooting, are being held on suspicion of murder.
It has been reported that Digby was trying to get into the caravan which the the Gregorys, described by locals as reclusive, have called home for 50 years.
