POLICE stormed a bar packed with revellers in London’s Borough Market minutes after a van ploughed into dozens of pedestrians in the heart of the City.

Footage shows terrified restaurant-goers sheltering under tables in the Katzenjammers bar in the popular hotspot after the major incident.
Police are seen instructing diners and drinkers to “get down” amid a wave of panicked shouts.
The Metropolitan police tweeted at 11:43pm that shots had been fired in the area, just minutes from London Bridge, after reports of a stabbing.

Police confimred at least seven people have died and up to 48 are in hospital.
A security guard for a collection of pubs in the area, who wished not to be named, said he was at the Market Porter pub when he was told by a colleague of a stabbing at the Borough Bistro pub.
Police have set up a cordon around the affected areas
He told the BBC that “everyone started running” and there was screaming.
One of the victims is a woman in her early 20s, according to eyewitnesses.
