Manchester bombing survivor's dad speaks of his relief as she recovers from injuries
THE father of Manchester suicide bomb survivor Evie Mills has spoken of his relief as she continued to recover in hospital.

Evie suffered serious leg and chest injuries when Salman Abedi detonated a home-made explosive device in the foyer of Manchester Arena on Monday night.
Her dad Craig Mills posted a photo of the 14-year-old lying in hospital following successful surgery.
Mr Mills said witnessing Evie's ordeal had been the “scariest 24 hours of my life” and that she had been scheduled for another operation on Thursday.

He wrote on Facebook: “Without a doubt the scariest 24 hours of my life, the good news is the surgery went well.
“It's rest all day tomorrow but needs another operation Thursday. Love you Evie Mills.'
The post was inundated with messages of support from family and friends.
One wrote: “Thank goodness she's ok, wishing her a speedy recovery.”

Another said: “Can't imagine how hard it's been for you and your wife. Thoughts are with you guys.”
Evie's brother Cal had posted a photo of Evie lying in an ambulance after she was caught up in the suicide bombing, which left 22 dead and 59 injured.
The blast hit a crowd mainly consisting of children and teenagers as they left a concert by US pop singer Ariana Grande.

Below the image of Evie with a bandage on her head and her face covered by a foil blanket, Cal wrote: “I wouldn't normally post things like this, but, last night my 14-year-old little sister was in the midst of the bombing at the MEN arena.
“So so lucky she's going to be okay but she's been in hospital all night now with quite serious damage to her legs and chest.
"Some sick b****** has caused E to experience something she'll never ever forget and it'll affect her forever now. No one's safe anywhere now, love you so much E.'
