Boy, 15, charged over knifepoint rape of woman in London park
A SCHOOLBOY is due in court charged with the rape and robbery of woman in broad daylight.
A 15-year-old boy is due in court to face rape allegations
The 15-year-old is accused of carrying out the attack in Sutcliffe Park in Eltham, south east London, last week.
He was charged with rape, robbery and possession of an offensive weapon and remains in custody at a south London police station.
The suspect was arrested specialist officers from Scotland Yard
His victim is understood to have been a woman in her 40s who needed hospital treatment after the alleged attack.
The teenager, who is from Lee Green in south-east London but cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to have threatened another member of public with a knife in the same park on April 19.
The alleged attack too place in Sutcliffe Park, south east London
He is also charged with robbing a woman at knifepoint in Handen Road, Lee, south-east London, three days earlier.
He was arrested by officers from Scotland Yard’s Sexual Offences, Exploitation & Child Abuse Command.
He is due to appear at Bromley Youth Court.
