Andrew Neil makes a nuclear joke at Labour's expense
Andrew Gwynne, Labour’s Campaigns and Elections Chair, was made to press the mocked up plunger moments after defending Jeremy Corbyn’s position on defence.
On Sunday, the hard-left leader said “all aspects” of defence would be up for review if he was handed the keys to Downing Street.
The anti-nuclear campaigner also refused to rule out whether he would be prepared to give up Britain’s nuclear defence.

Whack that button
Mr Gwynne appeared on Daily Politics on Wednesday to insist Britain’s security was not under threat under the prospect of a Corbyn premiership.
He said: “I can assure you that there is absolutely nothing we would do in government that puts the security of the defence of this great country of ours at risk.
“In 2017, the world is a different place, Labour party policy is very, very clear.”
Andrew Glynn was forced to push a giant red button
Positioned next to the Labour MP on the set of the BBC studio was a giant red button used to unveil a competition winner at the end of the show.
In an incredibly witty move, Neil finished the interview by telling Mr Gwynn to “whack that button”, before quacking finishing “don’t worry, it’s not the nuclear button”.
As the Labour MP pushed it, the studio, which was also filled with co-host Jo Coburn and former Tory whip Mark Harper, erupted into laughter.

Meanwhile, Theresa May faced Mr Corbyn for the pair’s final PMQs before the snap General Election.
The Prime Minister used the phrase “strong and stable leadership” 12 times in 10 minutes to declare the Opposition’s floundering leader was “not fit to run the country”.
Mrs May vowed to “get on with the job” with Brexit if elected in on the June 8th vote.
Farage blasts Labour for wanting to leave EU in NAME ONLY
She told the Commons: “I will give an assurance to all people who voted to leave the EU and for all people across the country regardless of how they voted who now want to see this Government get on with the job of Brexit and making a success of it.
“We want to see control of our borders, control of our laws, control of our money and that is what we will deliver.”
