Wife spots ‘bigamist’ husband, Iain Theyers, on Facebook with new bride a court heard
Iain Theyers, 45, married Peruvian Marian Belahonia in 2006 in her home country, but he vanished and lost contact with her and their son after the family moved back to the UK.
She hired a private investigator in an effort to file for divorce, but the Spanish teacher traced the IT worker with her own online detective work.
Ms Belahonia reported Theyers to police after she saw a photograph of him with Louise Martin and later learned that they had married in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, in December 2011.

Hull Crown Court today heard that Theyers of Balloch, Inverness, had met Ms Belahonia when she moved to Nottingham after visiting the UK on a travel visa.
They married in Peru after her visa had expired.
Both had previous marriages and were legally divorced and presented legal papers, the court heard.
Iain Theyers denies he was ever 'properly married' to Ms Belahonia
The newlyweds returned to the UK in 2007, filling in Home Office documents stating they were married, and in June had a baby son, Kyle.
The couple split in December 2010 and the following year Theyers, who denies he was ever “properly married” to Ms Belahonia, wed Miss Martin in Bridlington.
The trial continues.
