PARKING MADNESS: Row between neighbours is so big it's on GOOGLE EARTH
RESIDENTS are fighting tooth and nail for parking spaces in a neighbourhood war that has escalated to such a level it can be viewed on Google Earth.
Westmorland Close in Stockport is being blighted by a furious parking row
Neighbours in Westmorland Close, a tiny estate in Stockport, are faced with daily parking problems on the narrow road.
Double parking on the thin stretch of tarmac means the close can easily get closed off for all other motors.
And residents are frequently late or simply cannot get into work at all if they find their car has been blocked in in front of their house.
Now it has been revealed the feud has been going on for so long, it has even been captured on Google Earth and even on Google Street View on two occasions.

Mum Haley Foster, 27, was once forced to use a cab to get her young daughter to A&E because her car was hemmed in.
She told the Manchester Evening News: “It comes to something when you can see the problem on Google Earth.
“Everyone fights to get a space they know they will be able to get out from the next morning, everyone is scared of being late for work.
“My daughter Phoebe came up with an allergic reaction and I needed to take her to hospital.
“I looked out of the window, saw I was never getting out and had to call a taxi.”

Handyman Robert Pickering also lives with Ms Foster, and says he is frequently late to work because of the parking issues.
While his mother Michelle, 51, claims parking has been an issue for the past 12 years she has lived on the close.
And she claims part of the problem is the huge grass verge either side of the road.
Residents had taken to parking on the lawn to ensure the tarmac was kept clear for those trying to leave their homes.
