Ex-neighbour of ‘crazy’ dogs who attacked people in road says he warned police about them
A FORMER neighbour to the five "crazy" dogs which ran riot in a town centre like a pack of wolves claims he had WARNED cops about them before.

Yakub Adam, 45, says he used to live next door to the out-of-control dogs and was forced to contact police after noticeable changes in their behaviour.
Mr Adam said he used to be too scared to go out into the streets due the dogs' vicious demeanour - and told the police about them several times.

Two other dogs were caught, but police are still appealing for the public to be vigilant after a fifth animal remained at large.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control in a public place and affray.
Describing the dogs, Mr Adam said: "The dogs were absolutely crazy - they were always jumping up and down and barking constantly through the night.
"My children were always being woken up - it just wasn't good at all."

Mr Adam lives with his parents in Augustine Street, which backs on to Thorpe Street, where the dog owner used to reside.
After numerous complaints to the police and the council about his nuisance neighbour - the dog owner was evicted.
He said: "I once had a painter come round to paint the back once but he refused to do the job because he was too scared that the dogs would attack.
"It got to a point where we were scared to go outside at all."
Mr Adam said: "After making several complaints to the police and council, and also keeping a weekly report and submitting it to the council, they finally got rid of him from the property."
