The MP for Leicester West launched into a bitter tirade as she described the Brexit Secretary as “dismissive and disdainful”.
Speaking on This Week, Ms Kendall claimed there would be many “anxious people” keen to know what exiting the EU without a deal would mean.
Discussing her Moment of the Week, she said: “David Davis’ appearance before the Brexit select committee. I actually thought that was the really big story this week, not the NICS reversal although I’m sure we’ll come onto that.

I think there’s a lot of anxious people out there worried about what’s going to happen
“He said the Government’s made no assessment of what no deal would mean for Britain when we leave the EU.
“I mean for me I felt he was dismissive and disdainful… about the impact that tariffs or losing passporting rights would have on jobs and businesses and I think there’s a lot of anxious people out there worried about what’s going to happen and he didn’t really treat them with respect.”
Mr Davis insisted to a House of Commons Brexit Select Committee that quitting the European Union without an exit deal was “not as frightening as some people think”.
Describing the action his own Exiting the EU department was taking to prepare the UK for that possibility, the Tory minister told the committee he was not yet able to “quantify” the impact of no Brexit deal being agreed.
But Mr Davis also reminded MPs to consider the “upsides” of completing Britain’s divorce from Brussels.
Mrs May has vowed to trigger two-year exit negotiations with Brussels by the end of this month, having this week seen both MPs and peers pass her Article 50 Bill.
