Manhunt for knifeman after man stabbed outside BBC Radio 2 studio
A POLICE operation is underway after a stabbing by the BBC Radio 2 studios.
The stabbing took place by the BBC's Wogan House
A 21-year-old man suffered injuries to his hand in the attack at Wogan House this evening.
He is believed to have been knifed outside the building before attempting to flee inside.
Security staff cornered the attacker who managed to escape before armed police arrived.
Photos taken at the scene show blood splattered across the floor of the entrance.
A police cordon was erected and officers remain at the scene.
The incident took place outside Wogan House in London
The incident occurred when singer Emili Sande was in the building.
Hollywood A-lister Samuel L Jackson was also expected at the BBC building this evening.
The victim’s injuries are now thought to be life-threatening. Police said no arrests have been made.

The BBC has not commented in detail on the matter, stating it was a "matter for the police."
