Boy, 3, dies after being hit by reversing forklift truck on Fife farm
A THREE-year-old boy has died after he was hit by a reversing forklift truck on a farm in Fife.
A little boy aged 3 died in a tragic tractor accident in the Scottish village of Crossgates in Fife
The youngster - named locally as Stuart Nelson - suffered “fatal injuries” in the incident which happened just days after his third birthday.
The incident happened at about 5.10pm on Tuesday in the village of Crossgates.
The boy died at the scene and Police Scotland and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating the incident.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in Crossgates, Fife, but nothing could be done to save his life and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The ambulance service said: "We got a call at 5.17pm to respond to an incident in Crossgates, Fife.
"We dispatched multiple resources. The first unit arrived at the scene at 5.21pm."

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police in Fife are investigating after a child was killed during a collision on a farm in Fife.
"The incident happened around 5.10pm on Tuesday February 14 at a property in Crossgates.
"A three-year-old boy sustained fatal injuries after he was involved in a collision with a farm vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Inquiries into the full circumstances surrounding this matter are continuing."
