But a confiscation hearing at London's Woolwich Crown Court was told the haul was far higher.

Most of the burglars were captured just weeks later by the Flying Squad. But only about £4 million of the haul has been recovered.
Four of the gang are in jail and face an extra 14 years if they fail to repay their share of the loot.
A mystery gang member known only as "Basil" is still on the run.
Heist gang leader Brian "The Master" Reader, 77, was jailed for six years in March last year after admitting conspiracy to burgle.

John Collins, 75, Terry Perkins, 67, and Jones, 61, admitted the same offence.
William Lincoln, 60, was found guilty of conspiracy to burgle and conspiracy to conceal criminal property.
