A POLICE dog helped cops to sniff out a suspected drugs haul - inside a BAUBLE.

Officers were carrying out a routine drugs search at an address in Thornton, Blackpool, Lancashire, when dedicated dog Daisy sniffed out the suspected cannabis.
It was hidden in a number of locations, including inside a bauble printed with Father Christmas' face, which was still hanging from a Christmas tree.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “At around 10.45am on Thursday we executed a warrant at an address in Brown Street, Thornton.
“Officers attended and a small quantity of cannabis was found.

“Enquiries are continuing.”
Lancashire Police Dog Unit shared Daisy's success on social media, tweeting a picture of the bauble on a tree, and another snap of the bauble opened up with a cellophane bag inside.
The force tweeted: “Drugs warrant with @Wyrepolice where PD Daisy located a quantity of drugs including in the decorations #T3dogs”.
