Pilot killed after plane crashes in British airfield horror
A PILOT has been killed after crashing at a UK airfield, police have said.
The plane came down at Turweston Aerodrome, Buckinghamshire
The light aircraft left Turweston Aerodrome, Buckinghamshire, with the pilot being the only person on board.
It then crashed at the nearby Aston Rowant Nature Reserve.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said officials received a call at around 11.30 on Thursday.
The spokesman said: “Sadly, the pilot of the aircraft was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not believed to be suspicious."

Air Accidents Investigation Branch have dispatched a team to the site.
Road diversions are also in place and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
