CHILDREN were forced to listen to their mum’s horrifying screams as she was sexually assaulted by a stranger in the hallway of their home.
Greater Manchester Police are working to find the attacker
The mother, in her 30’s, was in bed with her young children on Tuesday night until she heard someone repeatedly knocking at her front door around 10:30pm.
In a panic, she answered the front door of her Stockport, Manchester home, but was pushed to the floor after the stranger pounced on her and grabbed her by the throat.

The attacker, described as a 20-year-old slim-built Asian man, fled the scene after he sexually assaulted the woman, whose loud screams for help forced him to stop the attack, according to Greater Manchester Police.
Detective Inspector Julia Bowden of GMP’s Stockport borough said: “This was a terrifying attacks or both the victim and her children who heard their mother’s screams.

“Incidents of this nature are horrifying but rare and we are doing everything in our power to find the man responsible.
“We have a team of highly skilled detectives working round the clock and there will be additional officers patrolling the area.”
Approximately 6ft tall, the attacker was seen wearing a dark green zip-up hooded top and a pair of dark blue baggy jeans.
The mother is currently in the support of specially-trained officers to help her cope with the horrific ordeal.
As the mother opened the front door, the stranger grabbed her throat and pounced
Detective Bowden added: “I would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time to please contact us immediately.”
The incident comes five weeks after a 22-year-old woman was raped at knifepoint in her home in Old Trafford, Manchester. The two attacks have not been linked.
