London Liverpool Street put into LOCKDOWN after police investigate 'suspicious vehicle'
A SUSPICIOUS vehicle has sent London Liverpool Street into lockdown just hours after an attack by a truck in Berlin.
Police have closed off the Bishopsgate area while they investigate a lorry.
Police have cordoned off the Bishopsgate area from Wormwood Street to Liverpool Street as they look into the attack.
The Bishopsgate entrance to Liverpool Street has also been closed.
Some took refuge in pubs close to the scene as the police investigate the scene.

A Daily Star Online reporter who is at the scene at the time of the lockdown said his bus had been diverted from the area.
Despite the roadblocks, people are believed to allowed to walk through the area.
A bystander said the road was closed due to a "suspicious package" near the scene, but police had not informed pedestrians of any immediate danger.

It comes just hours after the attack on a Christmas market in Berlin that has left 12 people dead and at least 48 injured.
The driver of the vehicle which ploughed into the festive celebration is believed to be Pakistani, according to unconfirmed reports.
Those in the area responded to the concerning incident
City police have confirmed they have repoened the site.
A City police spokesman told Express.co.uk: "The roads have since reopened but there was a suspect vehicle, which was checked out, and the roads have reopened – no issues."
