Man arrested after Twitter message calling for 'people to Jo Cox' Tory MP Ann Soubry
A MAN has been arrested following investigations into an apparent death threat directed at Tory MP Anna Soubry.
Anna Soubry reported the incident to the police
The former minister revealed she had spoken to Nottinghamshire Police after a social media user appeared to call for her to be attacked.
Ms Soubry had earlier posted a screenshot of a tweet citing the murder of tragic Labour MP Jo Cox.
It read: “Someone jo cox Anna sourby (sic) please”.

A 25-year-old man was arrested at his home in Bethnal Green
Today the Metropolitan Police said a 25-year-old man was arrested at his home in Bethnal Green on "suspicion of sending malicious communications".
The man is in custody in an east London police station and has not been charged.
Ms Cox, a 41-year-old mother-of-two, was fatally shot and stabbed outside a constituency meeting on June 16.
Far-right terrorist Thomas Mair has been sentenced to life in prison for her killing.
