Victim ‘not scared’ of jailbreaker thug on the run
A VICTIM of a thug who cut his way out of a jail cell using a diamond-tipped "would not be scared by his attacker escaping".
James Whitlock and Matthew Baker were on the run last night
Matty Bennett was lucky to survive after Matthew Baker stabbed him 25 times with a broken bottle in an unprovoked attack.
Mr Bennett was scarred for life. But a relative said yesterday: "Matty would not be scared by his attacker escaping.
"He wouldn't go into witness protection, he's just not like that."
Baker, 28, was on the run last night after his weekend escape from Pentonville in north London along with James Whitlock, 31.

They left dummies in their beds to make it look like they were asleep.
The alarm was raised around lunch time on Monday. Baker was to be sentenced on Friday for the attempted murder of Mr Bennett in Dagenham, Essex, last month.
Police were called to HMP Pentonville following reports of two escaped prisoners
Whitlock was facing trial accused of conspiracy to steal from cash machines.
Police said the pair should not be approached.

A spokesman said: "Police in Islington were called to HMP Pentonville at 11:44pm on Monday, November 7 following reports of two escaped prisoners.
"Officers attended and established with prison staff that two male prisoners, aged 28 and 31, escaped from the prison. Enquiries are ongoing to locate them."
