A SINK hole has appeared in Forest Hill, causing traffic chaos for drivers.

The hole, which is around 10 feet deep, emerged at around midday today.
Traffic on Perry Vale was immediately stopped in both directions and the road has now been sealed off.
Drivers are now being told to avoid the areas, although pedestrian access has not been restricted.
Forest Hill has been plagued by sink holes in recent months, with today's opening marking the third this year.
Local residents took to social media to express their frustration and bemusement.

One said: "Had a peak and it's about 10ft deep and can't see any pipes or leaks."
Another said: "Ugh, this is my road. Potentially the holiest road in South London, and not in a spiritual sense."
A third said simply: "Ugh... looks messy!"
Drivers have been advised to avoid to area due to the sink hole
In August, a hole opened beneath the train tracks in Forest Hill, sparking day-long delays on the London Underground, Thameslink and Southern Rail.
Trains had also been cancelled just weeks earlier, when a four-foot wide and 13-ft deep void appeared after an underground sewer caved in.
