AN ADORABLE five-year-old girl has become the UK's youngest firefighter after her wheelchair was transformed into a fire engine.
Macie McCann dressed as a firefighter and her wheelchair became a fire engine
Little Macie McCann, who has Cerebral Palsy which affects her muscle control and movement, dressed as a firefighter for Halloween.
The schoolgirl's wheelchair was converted into a tiny fire engine with working blue flashing lights, thanks to grandmother Jo McCann.
Mini-firefighter Macie, from Glasgow, even went to her local drama group to pass on safety tips which has been praised by senior officials.

And she has now been praised by top brass firefighters for her efforts.
Deputy Chief Officer for Scottish Fire and Rescue Alex Clark said: "I was absolutely delighted to learn that Macie chose to dress up as a firefighter for Halloween.
"Thanks also must go to her grandmother Jo for creating an outstanding replica model of one of our appliances.
"It was a fantastic effort from both and I am confident that they were greeted with affection at homes throughout their community.

"It certainly brought a smile to my face, to know that there are young people out there who appreciate the work that our firefighters do.
"We are presently working hard to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable Bonfire Night by attending professionally organised and family-friendly firework displays.
