Bus bursts in flames in front of horrified shoppers on busy Central London street
A LONDON bus has burst into flames outside Liverpool Street station in front of horrified shoppers.
DRAMATIC bus fire spotted in the middle of London
The double-decker bus caught fire at the busy station this morning.
Users on social media have shared footage showing the back of the bus engulfed in flames.
Sirens can be heard on the street.
The bus can be seen on fire outside Liverpool Street station
London Fire Brigade confirmed it was called to the scene around 10am.
The bus was outside skyscraper restaurant Sushisamba.
It not yet known if any passengers were on board when the fire started.
Bishopsgate has been cordoned off between Threadneedle Street and Wormwood Street prompting traffic delays in the area.

Ben Lewis, who recorded the video, said: "I was just walking past as it was fully ablaze
"I didn't really see much just what you see in the video.”
"That little explosion made me jump."
The fire has been put down
Pictures on social media show firefighters putting out the fire blaze which appeared to hit a famous London red bus.
A London Fire Brigade spokeswoman said the rear half of the bus had been destroyed by the fire.
No casualties have been reported.
