BHS DESTROYER: Phillip Green's superyacht 'RENAMED' by comedian Simon Brodkin
RETAIL tycoon Sir Philip Green saw his £100million superyacht renamed “BHS Destroyer” yesterday after a prank by a comedian.
This is the latest in a series of stunts by comic Simon Brodkin
Simon Brodkin, better known as TV comic Lee Nelson, used a dinghy to sneak up on the vessel as it was moored in Monaco, before hanging a banner bearing his new moniker along the hull.
Brodkin, 38, then posted a picture of Sir Philip’s yacht – real name Lionheart – on his Twitter page.
He tweeted: “Good of Sir Philip Green to rename his £100million yacht to something more appropriate. I was glad to help.”
Former BHS boss Sir Philip, 64, has been under pressure since the former high street store’s collapse in April.
The billionaire is facing calls to pay some of the £571million pension deficit left following the shop’s demise.
During his 15 years in charge, he took more than £400million in dividends from the business before selling it to former bankrupt Dominic Chappell for £1.

A furious committee of MPs later branded him the “unacceptable face of capitalism”. As the furore continues, the tycoon has been enjoying a five-week trip around Europe.
He has visited Corfu, Skopelos, Skiathos, Mykonos, Poros and Hydra. Last week, pensioners and former BHS customers demanded he sell Lionheart and his other luxury boats to help plug the black hole.

David Gibson, 50, said: “He’s just swanning off in his boat. He’s done nothing for years, not put money in the business, or trends or fashions.”
Brodkin’s previous stunts have included showering Fifa’s former president Sepp Blatter with fake money following allegations of financial irregularity at the football governing body.
Two years ago, he left England football players grinning by pretending to be one of them and trying to gatecrash their plane journey to Brazil for the World Cup.
