Rush hour travel chaos as Euston Station evacuated due to ‘emergency’
COMMUTERS face travel chaos this evening after a major London train station was evacuated following a fire alarm.
London Euston was evacuated following reports of an emergency
Passengers were evacuated from Euston station in north London for ten minutes sparking travel chaos.
Trains have been cancelled and delayed after fire alarms sounded across the station at around 4.30pm..
It's unclear what caused the false alarm but rail firm London Midland said trains were held outside the station as passengers were told to leave the building.

Fire alarms are sounding at London Euston causing delays of up to 30 minutes
Passengers were allowed back onto the concourse ten minutes after the alarm sounded.
Disruption is expected until 5.45pm.
National Rail said: “Fire alarms are sounding at London Euston causing delays of up to 30 minutes to journeys to and from London Euston.
"This is expected to continue until 5.45pm.”

A number of trains departed during the fire alarm leaving angry passengers waiting up to one hour for the next train.
The alarm came moments after Westminster Bridge was evacuated following reports of a suspect package being found.
Euston is the sixth busiest train station in the UK and is the gateway from London to the North West, West Midlands, North Wales and Scotland.
London Midland, Virgin Trains, Southern and London Overground services are expected to be affected by the disruption.
