Labour’s Margaret Hodge attacked by Twitter trolls after saying Jermey Corbyn had 'failed'
FURIOUS Twitter users have accused Margaret Hodge of stabbing Jeremy Corbyn in the back for saying he “failed” as the Labour leader and should step down.
Twitter users have responded with anger to Dame Margaret's view
Dame Margaret said Mr Corbyn should resign because the historic EU referendum had been a test of leadership and he had failed.
She tabled a motion of no confidence, which has been seconded by backbencher MP Ann Coffrey.
But she soon came under attack on social media for criticising the leader.

Bloomers Mccoy used Twitter to tell the MP that she “should be bringing the party together now, not moaning”.
Other Twitter users accused the MP pf showing her true colours and “stabbing Corbyn in the back” and being “a traitor to the working class”.

Eric Hargreaves said: “Margaret Hodge was the Labour MP who introduced tuition fees and is now trying to overthrow Corbyn the only PM who would scrap them.”
Another user Sarah Henney said: “Dear Margaret Hodge, as a Labour member I am disgusted by your motion against @JeremyCorbyn4PM You do NOT speak for me. Please resign.”
Dame Margaret has asked for the motion to be discussed at a Parliamentary Labour Party meeting on Monday evening with a secret ballot vote the next day.

She said: “Every MP, every member the Labour party, has to look into their heart in the way I did this morning and ask themselves the question - is Jeremy Corbyn really the right person to see the Labour party through these very tumultuous times?”
Dame Margaret is the MP for Barking and the former chairwoman of the Commons Public Accounts Committee.
However, thousands of fans of Jeremy Corbyn have signed a petition to make their voices heard and to try and keep the Labour leader in his position.
The attempted coup against the veteran Labour leader came about following the morning when England discovered it would no longer be a member of the European Union and Prime Minister David Cameron stood down.
