Mother born on February 29 gives birth to her OWN leap year baby
A MOTHER born on February 29 gave birth yesterday to her own leap year baby.
Leap year baby Nichola Davis, 24, has given birth on her birthday
Nichola Davis, 24, who has only had six birthdays in her life herself, gave birth to a 9lb 1oz baby girl called Neveah.
Bouncing baby Neveah kept her mum waiting until just 2.17am to be born on her once-in-every-four-years birthday.
Ms Davis told how her midwife predicted her second baby was hanging on to share her mum's unusual birthday after being in labour for three days.

Leap year strange facts
She said: "It doesn't feel real - everyone says it is incredible.
My midwife kept saying: 'She'll come on your birthday'. She was hanging on for the big day.
"I don't know how I feel - apart from tired!"
Nichola - born on February 29 1992 - was admitted into the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, South Wales, on February 26 - but Neveah kept her and partner Jason Jenkins, 26, waiting.

I just had that gut feeling. It's very mad - crazy
Proud grandparents Michael and Carolyn Davis had a "gut feeling" their daughter's baby would come on her unusual leap year birthday.
Carolyn, 58, said: "We went though the same scenario with Nichola - I should have put a bet on it!
"All weekend I've been with her, saying 'You're going to have her on your birthday. She's hanging on.'
"I just had that gut feeling. It's very mad - crazy.”

Neveah's proud grandad Michael said: "At least it is easier than remembering a new birthday!"
Mum and baby were both described as "doing well" and were due to be sent home to their Newport home for the birthday celebrations.
Midwife Jodie Harper said Neveah is an "extra special baby" to be born on her mum's leap year birthday.
Ms Harper said: "You never see it in this business. This is the first one I've ever heard of."
