Job cuts announcement are expected to be made by Tata steel tomorrow
Indian-owned company Tata will axe 1,050 roles in sites across the UK, according to sources.
Around 750 of those jobs are expected to go at Port Talbot plant in Wales
Thousands of losses were announced last year, with companies blaming high energy costs and cheap Chinese imports.
As a result the Government is expected to come under fire over calls for them to help revive the industry.
Many contractors and service firms rely on the plant, so direct job cuts will have a knock-on effect across the region.

The Government responded to the crisis last year by holding a summit and pressing the European Union to help high energy using firms.
But unions believe more should be done and will use any announcement from Tata as proof further action is needed.
A Business Department spokesman said: "While this remains unconfirmed by the company, these reports are concerning and we are monitoring the situation closely.
