Travellers took to social media to unleash their rage after trains stopped running to and from Charing Cross and Waterloo East following the disruption at London Bridge.
Services were diverted to Victoria or Blackfriars after the delays, which are expected to last throughout the morning.
Furious commuters took to Twitter to rant about their morning travel with the hashtag #southeastern soon trending.

Speaking following the latest round of delays, union leaders warned that transport services in London are under "intolerable pressure" leaving “both rail and Tube on a knife edge”.
Mick Cash, general secretary of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union said: "The intolerable pressure on transport services in and out of London is growing by the day and the toxic mix of massive overcrowding and infrastructure failures is leaving both rail and Tube on a knife edge.
"RMT repeats the call for renationalisation, with the money ripped off by the private rail companies reinvested in capacity, staffing and upgrading works."
Southeastern passengers have been advised by the train operating company to keep checking its website for live travel updates.
