Alena Faulkner was shocked when she received messages saying ‘how u doin?’ from the Yodel delivery driver trying his luck.
She used the delivery service after buying some drawers from eBay which were delivered by the same driver in two instalments.
She was then surprised to get texts from the delivery man a week later.

Ms Faulkner, from Crawley, West Sussex, unwittingly replied to a message from the unknown sender which said: "Hey. How r u doin?"
The unnamed driver replied: "Just realised I saved ur number the last tym I delivered ur parcel."
She dismissively said "oh ok" - but then he replied again asking how she was doing.

It's...against the data protection act
Ms Faulkner said she was not happy with the unwarranted contact, said: "It's not professional for Yodel drivers to use their service as a dating site.
"It's completely illegal and against the data protection act."

She contacted the company on November 20 to make a complaint, and the company replied to say that they had deleted the number from his phone.
But the 24-year-old is concerned that he wasn't disciplined more and fears for her safety.
She said: "Yodel agreed he was wrong and emailed me back to say that they'd spoken to the driver, took my number out of his phone and that the next time it will be a different delivery driver who comes to my place.

"But problem is they just took his phone and deleted the messages and put him on a different route.
"He was trying to hit on me - otherwise he would never messaged me a week later.
"It's really made me worry - that man knows where I live."
A spokesperson from Yodel said: "We sincerely apologise for this incident and understand the concern it caused.
"This is a serious complaint and steps were immediately taken to prevent any further contact.
"We have communicated these to the customer and we are happy to continue discussions with her."
