Madeleine McCann: Halloween outfit snap helps keep hopes alive
THIS picture of Madeleine McCann dressed as a Halloween pumpkin was posted yesterday on a Facebook campaign website to remind people to keep looking for her.
Dressed as a pumpkin, Maddie has fun with her siblings in family favourite photo
The touching photo was taken when she was three and having fun with her younger siblings, Sean and Amelie, at the family home in Rothley, Leicestershire.
Kate and Gerry McCann, both 47, say the shot is one of their family album favourites.
It was revealed last week that the couple have been consulting private detectives about re-starting their investigation into Madeleine’s disappearance in Praia da Luz.
The photo was posted on a Facebook campaign to find Maddie yesterday
There is believed to be still £750,000 left in their fund to find Madeleine.
Scotland Yard have cut the number of detectives on the case from 29 to five.
The McCann's have never given up hope in their search for Maddie
British Police scaled back their search for Maddie this week, from 29 detectives to just four
On the website a message urges: “Please don’t give up on Madeleine.
Kate and Gerry will do everything necessary to keep Madeleine in the public mind and to ensure that she is not forgotten
To continue looking for Maddie is to acknowledge that hope doesn’t die.”
Family spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “Kate and Gerry will do everything necessary to keep Madeleine in the public mind and to ensure that she is not forgotten.”
Facebook supporter Julia Shaw posted: “Happy Halloween to Madeleine wherever she may be, and so many hopes that this time next year she will be where she should be, home!”
