Marines muscle in for new charity calendar
SUPERFIT Royal Marines have stripped down to their six packs for a hotly anticipated charity calendar to raise money for comrades.

The topless group are pictured performing tasks away from the frontline, including carrying heavy equipment and operating complex machinery.
Last year’s calendar broke with tradition by featuring veterans but it was decided to “bring back the boys” for 2016.
Shot in black and white, the latest squad wear their berets and camo trousers to show off their torsos.

The theme for this year’s calendar is “The Royal Marine in a supporting role”.
Now in its sixth year, the £10 calendar has raised £250,000 for the charity Go Commando, which supports families of former and serving Royal Marines.
Head of the charity, Debbie Howarth, said: “Behind-the-scenes roles help to make the Royal Marines Corps the unique, independent and elite amphibious fighting force of the Royal Navy.”
