Man held for questioning over Birmingham primary school teacher's death
DETECTIVES were last night questioning a 24-year-old man over the murder of a retired primary school deputy head teacher.
Dunkley was found in her home
Anne Dunkley, who was described as a “pillar of the community”, was found at home in Marston Green, Birmingham, on Friday.
The 67-year-old mother-of-two, and former church warden, had suffered serious head injuries and died later in hospital.

A 38-year-old man, believed to be her son Matthew, suffered facial injuries in the attack.
Detective Inspector Martin Slevin of West Midlands Police said officers were investigating but were not looking for anyone else over her death.
Neighbour Ian Fletcher, 68, said: “She was a pillar of the community. It’s all been a tremendous shock.”
